While I would say that things are winding down, daylily-wise, there is still lots of bloom throughout the field. This is the time of year that the lates and very lates, do their job by providing color throughout the field.
Open Friday-Sunday 10-5pm
We are all caught up with mail order, so an order received by Friday will be shipped the following Monday!
If you have questions or concerns about your order, feel free to email me
We still have plenty of color print catalogs if you know someone that would enjoy one: CATALOG REQUEST

| Why do I have a picture of a bed of non-blooming daylilies? That’s because it’s my very late bed and as such it has yet to even start!
So if you’re lacking color or your daylilies are about finished. These might be the daylilies for you.

| This is a fairly recent discovery from my grandfather’s stock. 22-7-26-22 is a giant gold (6.5 inch flower) and a faint large red chevron. It’s just starting now, but the bulk of the blooms will be in late August into September! |

| Lilting Lady is more of a mid August bloomer, but it’s such a great performer, I have to mention it. Masses of pink blooms with a ruby red eyezone are a real eye catcher. And it has incredibly fast increase. Planted now they will be big clumps by next year! |

| Each fall I clear out beds that have extra or duplicate colors and types. This year is no exception. I’ll have a really interesting mix available this year. The plants come unlabelled, but are an interesting mix of colors and bloom times. This is a great way to fill in barespots, plant hard to manage banks or just to add to the selection of daylilies you grow.
Minimum order of 10 plants, with generous bonuses given!
These won’t be shipped until mid September, right after they’re dug

| Yet another serediptious landscape planting. Echinacea purpurea, Vernonia and Silphium make a wonderful layered arrangement. The Silphium grows well over 8 feet, and as such make a perfect backdrop. The large leaves add a certain degree of substance to the planting in general.
I expect to have all of these perennials available in 2026 |

| It has been hot! And while Dante does make his usual morning foray out to see what’s doing. It’s often back to a comfortable napping spot. |
