| The field in August is still beautiful! With loads of lilies still blooming and more coming.
While it’s been a great year for rain, sometimes a little extra water helps plants dug and replanted recover quickly.
August Schedule: Open Friday-Sunday 10-5pm.
We are still shipping weekly, and orders received by Friday will be shipped the following Monday.
I’ve still got plenty of free color catalogs for your gardening friends and they make a nice house warming gift. Just send an email!

| Every year, I grow Morning Glories on my arbor, just outside my kitchen. It’s always an amazing show, and eventually my entrance becomes like a secret door to my abode.
This year i planted a Nicotiana sylvestris (big leafed plant on right). It produces masses of highly fragrant blooms that smell heavenly in the evening. The Morning glory is Grandpa Ott’s, the best one i think. It’s very hardy and blooms early. I collect the seeds and start in big pots in April in the greenhouse, to ensure big starter plants |

| Dante comes in from his morning jaunt. he was playing coy this morning, it took me about 10 minutes to convince him that he wanted to come in. He does teach me patience and a go with the flow attitude, as, if I chase him or try and pick him up he’ll run off. |
