Blooms are coming, A bunch of nice ones, Art Tiles, Goofy Dante

There are daylilies blooming all over the field, but nowhere are there masses of blooms. So here is a smattering of nice cultivars in bloom right now.

We’re getting some rain today, which is nice, and with the slightly cooler temperatures, it’s perfect growing and digging weather.

I expect that there will be almost an exponential increase in blooms over the next few weeks.

The Garden House will be open for the this weekend.

I’ve got lots of interesting, potted perennials that I grew from seed. 

Prices range from $1.00, $3.00, $5.00 and $15.00.

Olallie Maureen: extra early red with dark red buds. Produces masses of blooms

Olallie Wendy: This is an amazing early pink. Nice color, nice form and great branching.

Olallie Dani’s Ginger: First of my tall heavily branched small reds. These creat a nice candelabra affect.

Saratoga Springtime: Another from Saxton, I like this daylily as the blooms are held in the foliage, creating the appearence of a living bouquet.
