Daylily colors range from almost white to a deep saturated satin red-purple. Golds and Yellow are the  predominant colors in the species and originally in hybrids. Now a whole range of colors and combinations are found. Though there seems is no real no true blue daylily color.
Yellow, golds blend well with every other flower color and type
Reds carry well when seen from a distance. Particularly in a mass.
Pinks and purples play off of each other really well.
Near Whites are great with other perennials.
Incredibly all daylily colors blend well. A mix of various daylily colors in a bed creates a feast of color and form for the eye. Conversely a stand of one color of daylilies creates a strong color anchor that draws the eye.
