We’ve had yet another snowstorm. Only a couple of inches, but it’s also been incredibly cold. In fact apparently the last time it was this cold in December was 1986.

However as you can see my dogs are undetered and are joyously cavorting in the snow.

I still have daylilies available to name and of course gift certificates.

I’ve also created a category for my Ceramic tiles of daylilies and figures my mother Ellen did.

If you have questions, feel free to email me

While the daylies are truly most beautiful while blooming, the architectural lines of the dried scapes contrasting with the drifted snow creates a wonderful vignette.

Daylilies for Naming

There is a nice batch of new daylilies for naming. Recipient will get a certificate in time for Christmas, and receive a blooming size plant in the spring, for 2026 bloom. The named daylily gets registered with the American Daylily Society and will have that name forevermore.

I’m pleased to offer some of the ceramic tiles I’ve made. These are reworkings of illustrations or drawings that my mother Ellen Darrow (Aho) did over the years.

Each tile is hand glaze screen printed and fired by me.

Each tile is one of a kind.

They come in two sizes 6×6 or 8×8.

The 6 inch tiles are great for trivets or what have you.

The larger 8 inch tiles are thicker and have a strong visual appearence.

Gift Certificates

Not sure what the gardener in your life would like for Christmas? Gift Certificates are a great choice. They allow the recipient to pick what they want and never expire.

A brief outside jaunt is always followed by a long nap, and Dante occasionally likes a quick battle with my hand.
