Iris Sale Days: Saturday June 12th and 13th and June 19th and Sunday 20th, 2010: 10-5 pm.

This is will be peak bloom for the Iris and a better weekend for selecting plants. We will have many cultivars on sale including potted Iris. Specials will include 10-25% off selected iris cultivars as well as clump specials on both iris and early daylilies.
Other more unusual Iris species will be available too. This is a great time to view all our Siberian Iris in bloom. We have many new cultivars that we are trialing as well. In fact we have an icredible collection of newer Siberian Iris cultivars that we will have in limited supply.

Don't miss your chance to get one of the hardiest long-lived plants in shades of purple, lavender, wine, blue, cream, and white.

Early daylilies are also in bloom. We are excited to introduce our new developments in June (in Southern Vermont) blooming daylilies. Think of them as a follow up to spring bulbs.

June is Iris time! June is Iris time!

Here Jasper digs a typical saleable piece for a customer.

Early June is a great time to visit Olallie Daylily Gardens. The Siberian Iris is in full bloom and most of our early daylilies are out too. An excellent time to transplant, people often pick up an iris or two and some daylilies for later in the season.

Peak Season at Olallie Daylily Gardens

Peak season, typically from mid July through mid August is a magical time. Tens of thousands of blooms appear each day. It is worth the trip to see the diverse spectrum of daylily cultivars, colors and types. There is plenty of room to stroll the gardens and plenty of seats to sit and enjoy the view. Many people plan an afternoon and bring a lunch.
