Early pigmented scape daylilies developed at Olallie Daylily Gardens

4-9-01 is part of the EB series developed in the mid 90's.	The early color affect of the dark scapes is quite striking.
This red flowered red bracted cultivar is of somewhat mysterious origins although the short bracts indicate that it has Hem middendorfii in it. The red is not as clear as one would like but the red scapes coupled with the red flowers are quite eye-catching.	The red pigmentation is quite strong and is even exhibited in the spent blossoms.	The red shades of the bloom coupled with the red buds and bracts really creates a strong showing.
17-08 is distinctive because of the hieght of the scapes and the intense pigmentation of the stems.	Taller with more open blooms than 4-9-01, 17-08 is quite striking with 32" tall scapes.	17-08 is by far the most striking of the dark scape types very dark tall scape produce yellow blooms in mid june.
