Daylily Species: The original species found originally in the wild. The species are unique as the progenitors of all other daylily cultivars. Typically with wonderful clean lines, and delicate flowers, they meld well with almost any planting.

Species-like hybrids are typically derived from crosses with species and selected for their unique characteristics. some species-like have been selected from vigorous species-like hybrids as well.

Here several species derived hybrids coexist with Iris ensata, Verbascum, Goldenrod and other Vermont plants and weeds!
